Civil War Haversack

This 'haversack' contains news articles that may be of interest to Civil War buffs. (A haversack was a canvas bag, about a foot square, used to carry a soldier's rations. The word derives from Middle German for 'oat bag', and refers to the bag used for feeding oats to horses.)
